Human Resources

The demands made of human resources executives have increased significantly in recent years. This is not only due to the increased competitiveness of business generally, but also because most CEOs recognize that world class HR can play a significant role in helping them to achieve their strategic business objectives. Indeed, HR directors are now required to play a meaningful role in a growing number of areas. The ability to manage the technical aspects of day-to-day delivery in an international setting is now a prerequisite. HR directors are also expected to have a deep understanding of the wider business context and be able to contribute to broader business strategy development. They also need to have the executive presence and emotional intelligence to act as both a thought partner to the CEO and other board members, as well as a personal advisor occasionally. A war for talent exists in many areas. Finding truly great HR leaders can be particularly tough.

The Human Resources Practice of Egon Zehnder International has been set up to meet this need, and consists of dedicated consultants around the world with extensive experience in HR assignments, at international, regional and national levels. Our expertise covers HR generalist positions as well as specialists in compensation and benefits, organisational development, talent management, training & development, staffing, and shared services.
